Zion von Heilsbronn is a beautiful 12 month old long haired German Shepherd. Zion was left in a broccoli field with his brother (or father?) Hans. We don't understand how anyone could leave such beautiful and nice dogs in a field to fend for themselves. Both Hans and Zion are confused about what has happened to them and they're a little shy, but they are still affectionate and so gentle. Long haired shepherds are known for their more mellow temperaments and they also shed less than the short haired shepherds. The far away shelter begged us to take the boys, hey could see what great pets they will make to a lucky family. They can be adopted together or separately. We're asking for an adoption fee of $400 for Zion to help pay for Bogie's eye surgery.
